Just A Couple Of Pictures

Hey everyone! I hope your week has been going good so far? Mine has been much better this week.

This blog isn’t about anything in particular to be honest, I just wanted to share some pictures with you all that I’ve taken over the last 2 weeks.

I try and take my camera with me as much as possible because even if I’m sat in a coffee shop with my husband I like to snap pictures of coffee and other tasty drinks or food.

Don’t worry though, I am not one of those people who constantly takes pictures of food & drink.

I still like to be in the moment, I think for me I enjoy getting creative shots of my surroundings and I just want to share my love of everyday life with the rest of the world. ( cheesy, I know! )

Anyway, I feel like I am rambling again! Here are some of the pictures that I have taken.

I may as well start with the latest, this one was taken today in The Glass Lounge, Colwyn Bay. I always get coffees from there, but today I decided to be brave and try a nice healthy smoothie. Plus caffeine has been giving heart palpitations lately ( oops )

My lovely husband doesn’t do fruit so instead he opted for a banoffee milkshake! I must admit I was quite jealous.

Last weekend the triumphant 1940’s festival returned to Colwyn Bay and people from all over the country came to visit! I also love it when people really get into the spirit of things by dressing up.

The Glamophones performing a classic 1940’s song, I love their outfits I would love it if this style came back in fashion, it just looks so glamorous… ( no pun intended ) :p

Us women certainly are good at improvising! To be honest if I’d forgotten my mirror I would definitely do the same! A lady always likes to wear a nice bit of lippy!

I call this picture ” Lemony Sunset ” I could have added more orange and blues but I decided to leave it yellow instead as I think it looks nice, plus it’s always good to be a bit different.

Morfa beach with The Great Orme in the distance. The purple, pink & blue tones really caught my attention that evening!

One last sunset, I don’t usually zoom in so much because the sun is so bright and sometimes it just looks a strange blurry smudge. But I had my ND filters with me on this occasion and I was quite pleased with the results!

That’s it for today but I might make this a regular thing in the future.

If you’ve made it to the end then thank you! And have a lovely day!! x
